The SEC recently released its first fee rate advisory for fiscal year 2023. The new fee rate of $110.20 per million dollars (an increase from the current fee rate of $92.70 per million dollars) will be effective October 1, 2022 and will apply to registrations of securities under Section 6(b) of the Securities Act of 1933, repurchases of securities under Section 13(e) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and proxy solicitations and statements in corporate control transactions under Section 14(g) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
To calculate applicable filing fees once the new rate is in effect, registrants should multiply the aggregate offering amount by 0.0001102. Registrants can also reference the SEC’s Registration Fee Estimator prior to filing for the currently applicable rate.
