Before Horizon, Markowitz served as Managing Director and Head of Short Duration Fixed Income at Guggenheim Partners. While there he helped launch and manage a Short Duration, actively managed exchange-traded fund. Prior to Guggenheim, he was a Managing Director and Head of Short Duration Fixed Income with UBS Global Asset Management where he oversaw trading and investment strategies of the Money Market funds and separate accounts with a maximum maturity of five years.
