analysts are looking at the bankruptcy strategy of other cities that filed for protection, in order to examine trends, repercussions, and potential solutions that might apply to
Detroit. Amid the various cities and counties that have filed as of late, the small town of
Central Falls, Rhode Island, stands out as a potential - albeit draconian - model for
municipalities that are insolvent.
