Six minor students have reportedly been arrested after an alleged sexual assault at Dunbar High School in Washington, DC just before the holiday break. Security measures at the school have been enhanced, according to a letter sent to parents by school officials, and neither the suspects nor the alleged victim are being identified by name due to their respective ages.
In the letter regarding the alleged November 22nd incident, interim D.C. Public Schools Chancellor Kaya Henderson disclosed to parents that the assault occurred during school hours in an unused area of the school in the vicinity of a lower level stairwell.
