This is a supplemental brief to a motion for sanctions filed against the plaintiffs and attorney Due H. Tran of the law firm DHTLAW PLLC.

The brief alleges an unethical misrepresentation made by attorney Due H. Tran to the Court during a court hearing. The nature of the misrepresentation is evidenced by the attached United States District Court documents that conclusively show the whereabouts of attorney Due H. Tran and/or his co-counsel Vinh Steve Vo on September 10, 2010 despite his representation to the contrary.

The Fairfax County Circuit Court issued an opinion letter on November 8, 2010 regarding the alleged misrepresentation as well as other actions by attorney Due H. Tran that resulted in a monetary sanction in excess of $8,000 solely against attorney Due H. Tran for violating Virginia Code Section 8.01-271.1.

A copy of the court's opinion letter and other pleadings and orders from this case can be found in my portfolio on JDSupra.com.

The appeal by Due H. Tran, Esq. has been denied by the Supreme Court of Virginia and the Order of the trial court stands.
