Sustainable Development and Climate Change: Policy Choices in Uncertain Times


This presentation framed my recent speech at RTM Communication's Sustainable Development in San Franciso, California. It analyzes the policy choices available for sustainable development and climate change issues in the context of the current United States economy. It concludes that neither regulation nor litigation are acceptable means to secure stability, and likewise recognizes that the United Nations climate change efforts have failed. It proposes a new international framework for negotiations by industrialized nations.
