At the December meeting of the Tennessee Health Services Development Agency, Eric Harkness gave an update on the development of the new nursing home and home health standards. As noted in our November 2013 report, the agency anticipated at that time that the nursing home standards would be finalized in December 2013 and the home health standards would be finalized in January 2014. However, Mr. Harkness announced that both the nursing home and home health standards have been delayed, though it is anticipated that they will be finalized in the first quarter of 2014. During the meeting, the agency approved the following applications.
