An analysis of the relationship between occupational exposure to asbestos and the mortality rate among the workers. Asbestos is known to cause several cases of mesothelioma, asbestosis, lung cancer and pleural diseases. Mesothelioma may not be diagnosed for many years after exposure, and is currently incurable.
