In a recent article in the Vancouver Sun the IRS Criminal Investigation Division made its intention to prosecute owners and operators of online poker site clear.

“IRS Criminal Investigation will vigorously investigate and recommend prosecution against the owners and operators of these illegal enterprises to the fullest extent possible,” said Internal Revenue Service special agent in charge Rebecca Sparkman.”

This statement would seem to imply that there are others beyond those individuals already indicted who will face prosecution. There may be many more who face charges once the records of the sites are obtained or names and roles revealed as part of pleas. There may be others in addition to owners and operators that may face justice, like players, and those who had supporting roles.
