Following approval for a number of Malta QROPS retirement schemes, the Malta Financial Services Authority approved and registered the first 'QNUPS' retirement scheme in the last quarter of 2010. The approval was given to a Trustee licensed in Malta to act as a Retirement Scheme Administrator and has paved the way for other similar approvals.
