Led by Ohio AG Dave Yost and Acting Vermont AG Joshua Diamond, a bipartisan group of 14 state attorneys general wrote a letter to Congressional leadership to finalize and pass the CHIPS (or Creating Helpful Incentives to Produce Semiconductors) Act to accelerate U.S. production of microchips and end the overreliance on foreign imports.

Delaware Court Dismisses AG Lawsuit Against Monsanto for PCB Pollution
Delaware Superior Court Judge Mary M. Johnston granted a motion to dismiss in favor of Defendants Monsanto Company, Solutia, Inc. and Pharmacia LLC in a lawsuit filed by Delaware AG Kathleen Jennings regarding claims stemming from the presence of polychlorinated biphenyls allegedly contaminating Delaware’s waterways and that were manufactured by Monsanto.

DC AG Racine Leads Amicus Coalition Against Ghost Guns
District of Columbia AG Karl Racine led an attorneys general coalition of nineteen states and the District of Columbia in filing an amicus brief in support of a Final Rule promulgated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms that clarifies definitions in the Gun Control Act that make it applicable to so-called “ghost guns,” a rulemaking that had been challenged in federal court in Texas.
