Two Cases of Squamous Carcinoma of the Lung Occurring in Asbestosis

A 1935 report published in a British medical journal examining two cases of two individuals who developed asbestos-related diseases after being exposed to the hazardous substance. Patients who are exposed to asbestos in the workplace or from other sources may develop a number of serious and potentially deadly diseases, including mesothelioma, lung cancer, and asbestosis. Patients who receive a mesothelioma diagnosis, may only survive a few years, although there are a number of treatment options available.
