Not too long ago, those of us following the Indiana trucking industry were saddened by the news that on a Monday evening and again on a Tuesday evening, local men died in crushing incidents involving big rig semi trucks. Families and friends are grieving their loss. Truckers and their families are also mourning the week’s events.
The two men were killed not on the highways but after the truck had reached its destination. The two unfortunate and tragic deaths illustrate that big rigs are dangerous everywhere, even after they've reached their destination.
Our condolences go out to the families and friends in mourning over these two tragic deaths. Please, be careful.
