As noted in a February 5th post, the Vicksburg District Regulatory Branch of the United States Corps of Engineers (“Corps”) announced the scheduling of what it describes as an “outreach event” for consultants and applicants. (See previous post here.)

The purpose of the outreach event is stated to enable consultants and applicants “to more efficiently navigate the application and approval process.”

The Vicksburg Corps office issued a follow-up notice yesterday stating that it is capping the number of attendees that can attend the event due to capacity concerns. The office specifically states:

Due to capacity concerns at the District we must cap attendees at 60 for our event on Thursday, March 28 at the Vicksburg District. We have received overwhelming response to our earlier announcement and only a few spots remain. We will keep a stand-by list of those who register after we hit our limit in the event someone is unable to attend. If you have registered and will not be able to attend please let us know so we can offer a seat to someone else.

The Vicksburg Corps office announcement can be found here.
