A number of clients and contacts continue to ask how remote gaming duty and general betting duty are currently calculated, as the industry prepares itself for the point of consumption tax regime ("POCT"). Whilst we have no indication from the Treasury that any method of calculation would change if/when POCT were brought in, there is always that possibility. However, with all impact assessments based on the current model, changes are considered fairly unlikely.
