The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (“USTR”) announced that it will grant an extension of one-year to eleven (11) specific exclusions that were subject to the Section 301 List 1 tariffs at a rate of 25%.  These eleven specific products and HTS numbers had exclusions that were scheduled to expire on March 25, 2020.  USTR requested comments in December on whether or not it should extend the exclusions, which were originally issued on March 25, 2019.  The extensions apply retroactively to entries on or after July 6, 2018 and will now expire on March 25, 2021.  To view the full list of extended product exclusions, please click here. Products affected include various types of filters, electric motors, and data processing storage units other than magnetic disk drives.
