What Should Be Included in a Health Care Provider Compliance Program

Damaris Medina presented on “Compliance” at the Urgent Care Association of America’s (UCAOA) 2016 Fall Convention on October 1, 2016 in Nashville, TN. This course highlighted the increased attention government agencies and private payers have been giving health care business practices in an effort to seek out fraud and abuse. In this segment, she discusses the importance of understanding what should be included in a compliance program to ensure the avoidance of an audit or an outright government investigation.
