Join me at the American Bar Association (ABA) Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law's (RPTE) 22nd Spring Symposia in Washington DC on April 28, 2011 where we will discuss "The Positive Side of Social Media" - the first of a series of continuing legal education (CLE) presentations at this two day event.

Hundreds of real property, trust and estate lawyers will be present. This a great way to earn a full year of CLE and to network with attorneys from across the United States.

In this particular program we will review how clients routinely use Google, Bing and Yahoo to search the internet, not only for corporate information about products and services, but also for more information about attorneys they intend to hire.

This ABA CLE program will also discuss:

• What will they discover about you?

• What will they learn about your online “brand”?

• And most importantly, how can you use the social media, in particular Facebook, LinkedIn and Martindale’s Connected, to “build your brand” on the internet in a positive and appropriate manner for attorneys.

This is the RPTE Section's third CLE program on the social media. Keep Current with this and other Legal Hot Topics!

I hope that you find the attached background article on social media for "dirt" and "death" attorneys useful.

See you in Washington, DC!
