On March 26, 2012, The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) issued a press release announcing the Supreme Court’s decision in Zivotofsky v. Clinton. The Supreme Court directed a lower court to review the Zivotofskys’ claim on the merits, rejecting the argument that the issue at stake was a “political question” inappropriate for court resolution. Mintz Levin attorneys Michael Gardener and Ari Stern prepared an amicus brief for the ADL and a coalition of national Jewish organizations.
