NAIC Declines to Act on Life Insurer Capital and Surplus Relief Proposals


The National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) has denied the request the American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI), a life insurer trade association, to adopt proposals intended to provide capital and surplus relief to life insurers on their December 31, 2008, financial statements.
