Honda and Acura Airbag Recall, Again

Recently, Honda voluntarily recalled a massive amount of its products; cars that have been sold and on the road for years, as 833,000 more Hondas and Acuras were recalled for faulty airbags.

A wide variety of Honda vehicles apparently have airbags that can inflate without warning if they’ve got enough pressure.

No crash. Big surprise. Boom. Airbag goes off.

Of particular concern is the fact that these aren’t new cars. These are Hondas and Acuras that have been on Illinois and Indiana roadways for several years now. Once again, an example of the reality that just because you’ve had a product for awhile without a problem, it doesn’t mean that the product is safe.

If you have a Honda or Acura listed as one to be recalled, please take action to curtail the possibility of serious harm or death to you or a loved one.
