Second Circuit decision prohibiting use of Admiralty Rule B to attach a foreign bank account


The Second Circuit continues to strike down attempts to use Rule B to attach wire transfers. Here, the attempt to attach not only the originating, foreign account was refused, but the suspense account based on the wire transfer as well.
