Cloud computing or "software as a service" has become a hot topic, and cloud computing appears to be here to stay. Although cloud computing has many potential benefits, the legal issues remain cloudy. Lawyers should begin considering such issues not only for their clients, but if they are considering the possibility of storing their own data in the "cloud." This article does not claim to have the answers. It does try to raise some of the questions (which are far from all of the questions), and to begin a dialogue.
