Thousands of phil&teds Strollers Recalled


Approximately 30,000 phil&teds jogging strollers were recently recalled in the United States and Canada as a result of reports that a person’s finger can become caught in the hinge mechanism when folding and unfolding the stroller, which could result in the potential for amputation and laceration.

The popular stroller manufacturer phil&teds recalled the stroller after it received three reports of incidents in which the adult users of the strollers suffered injuries while folding or unfolding the stroller, one of which resulted in the amputation of the adult’s fingertip.
