Starbucks Sells More than Coffee


Walk into any Starbucks and you know you can get a cup of light roast or dark roast coffee. While Starbucks sells many other things besides coffee, most of their branding efforts have gone into promoting their coffee reputation.

Lawyers can learn a lot from this. While many lawyers do more than one thing, it is important for lawyers to be focused when explaining what they do (i.e. if they want to be memorable).
