Although the ever-increasing demand for computing cannot be controlled, we must ask if there are ways we can deliver computing in a more efficient, environmentally friendly way. Cloud computing promises such efficiencies, giving rise to the natural question: Can moving more of our computational demands to the cloud help save the environment?
