A winning argument in defense of a contract claim for home improvements


This is a summary judgement motion made on behalf of a defendant husband home owner in a claim by a home improvement contractor for payment for work done at the homeowner's residence. This case was a companion case to a divorce where the wife was friends with the home improvement contractor and together they were trying to get the soon to be ex-husband to pay for home improvements made at the marital residence at the wife's request.
