Former Nortel executives are being sued and also the subject of regulatory proceedings re accounting, financial and stock irregularities and concerns. They are seeking to have the insurance company for Nortel Networks defend them in all of these proceedings. Their insurer only wants to defend some of these proceedings, leaving the executives to pay for their own defence costs for the remaining proceedings.
