Een concurrentiebeding beperkt de vrijheid van de werknemer in zijn doen en laten na het einde van zijn dienstverband. Door nieuwe (onvoorziene) ontwikkelingen in de arbeidsverhouding kan het beding echter zijn rechtskracht verliezen.
