Governance, whether one is dealing with a body politic or a body corporate, is simply the system by which power is allocated within an organization and its lawful use authorized.

This article, written as a Master's Thesis for The Fletcher School, analyzes the Angelo-American corporate system using a power dynamics model. The model shows why the failures of Enron, Worldcom, etc had to happen. It thus also shows how to prevents such failures in the future.
