Civil Writ Petition under Articles 226/227 of Constitution of India for issuance of writ of Mandamus for directing the respondents to initiate prosecution against the senior police officials u/s 59 of NDPS Act and Sections 166 and 221 of the IPC; who despite being public servant, knowingly disobeyed the mandatory directions of the law as to the way in which he is to conduct himself as such public servant being the District Police Chief of Chandigarh, intending to cause, or knowing it to be likely that he will, by such disobedience, cause injury to any person. And who being a public servant and being, legally bound as such public servant to a person charged with or liable to apprehended for an offence, intentionally omits to apprehend such person. Such omission to perform duty by an officer as senior as the SSP of Chandigarh also resulted in a failure to get a big racket and nexus of packed drugs being sold in the region (Union Territory of Chandigarh) from being exposed....etc..
