Once upon a time, you sent a letter through the U.S. mail and you could be pretty confident that the recipient received your letter. Today we rely on e-mail and continue to have similar expectations. But e-mail is far from 100% reliable. So the next time you are angry that an e-mail recipient has not replied, make sure they received the message. Increasingly, you may find that your annoyance was unjustified.
