While the U.S. EPA classification of carbon dioxide as a pollutant earned considerable media coverage in late 2009, the patent community was more interested in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office announcement regarding the Green Technology Patenting Program (GTPP). This article address the criteria for entry into the GTPP and other developments within the U.S. Patent Office pertaining to green technology.
