This article briefly discusses the two ways authorized by the bankruptcy code for a debtor to keep a vehicle when filing bankruptcy. It discusses two code sections. The first is the concept of "reaffirmation," found in 11 USC 524(c) and the second is the concept of "redemption," found in 11 USC 722.
