Amended Complaint and Jury Demand


My client was a photographer whose main business consisted of the preparation and sale of marketing materials utilizing his pictures. He sold postcards, business cards, calendars, etc., utilizing his original photography. He did not license the photographs.

Some of his clients decided to take the photos and use them for their own purposes anyway.

This was resolved largely by settlement -- very favorable for our client -- and, unfortunately, by the bankruptcy filing of one of the larger defendants.
