The nation's new health care law affects everyone in this country. The Commerce Clause allows Congress to make laws which have an effect on commerce. The question is whether it is constitutional for Congress to pass a law requiring the purchase of health care. This document takes a brief journey through the Commerce Clause and addresses that question.
