Petition for Damages, Breach of Contract and to Enforce Construction Lien


Plaintiffs in this case filed this lawsuit seeking damages for a breach of contract by the Defendant Evenstar, Inc.

The cause of action against the Defendants Eastover and Golf Club is provided by the Louisiana Private Works Act (LA R.S. 9:4801 et seq.), which is the Louisiana construction lien statutes.

The lawsuit alleges that the Plaintiffs performed construction services and soil testing on property owned by the Defendants Golf & Eastover, and at the instruction of the general contractor Evenstar, Inc. Despite performing as requested, the Plaintiffs complain that they have not been compensated.

The case is filed in Orleans Civil District Court.
