Seneca County officials are grappling with what to do with the site of a burned-out

Romulus apartment house that was set on fire by a Lodi man in 2001. His wife and

four children died in the fire.

"At this point, our major concern and first priority is to get it demolished,"

The building on Route 96 is across the road from Romulus Central Schools. Some

people have suggested turning the site into a memorial park, while

others have suggested selling the property for private development.
