OFCCP - VEVRRA Legal Update


OFCCP is strengthening many aspects in diversity recruitment and the expansion of Women, Minorities, Disabled and Veterans through various programs and good faith effort requirements for constractors and subcontractors.

OFCCP Director, Patricia Shiu has proposed ruling to require contractors to engage on atleast three specified types of outreach and recruitment efforts each year. In addition, the proposed rule would require that all applicants be invited to self-identify as a "protected veteran" before they are offered employment. Comments on the proposed rulemaking must be submitted by June 25th. Visit the federal e-rulemaking portal http://www.regulations.gov to submit comments.
