People v. Lacy

Motion to Exclude Prior Convictions

This is a motion that I filed in a criminal case.

My client had a prior conviction for Aggravated Battery on a Peace Officer, and I felt that the jury would be prejudiced if they knew of that conviction.

The Court agreed with me, and the prior conviction was not allowed to be brought up in front of the jury.
