Deadlines, deadlines, deadlines, sometimes it seems like that's all I write about on the Zlien blog. There is a good reason for that, however.  Deadlines are extremely important in the mechanic's lien process, and can provide fodder for some interesting discussions about mechanic's lien laws. When it gets right down to it, the knowledge of the deadlines that apply to a mechanic's lien claim is probably the second most important item on the mechanic's lien checklist - second only to the determination of whether a party is entitled to mechanic's lien rights at all.
