The NSW Industrial Relations Commission Full Bench handed down its Secure Employment Test Case decision on 28 February 2006. The decision held in favour of inserting a new clause in to all Awards, Secure Employment, covering conversion of regular and systematic casuals to permanent employment and OHS for contractors and labour hire on host employer sites. The decision rejected the counter application made by employers to reduce minimum conditions of employment for part-time employees.
