Our lives change as we get older. We get married, we have children, we become grandparents, we retire. What we "need" and what we "want" at each stage various, sometimes drastically. Your Estate Plan should be changing along with your life. You don't need guardianship provisions anymore if your children are no longer minors. You may not need to be concerned with a child spending all their inheritance now, perhaps because now they are married and more mature than when you drafted your documents 20 years ago! For any Estate Plan to work it must reflect your life.
