You may not want to go to trial, but make sure your lawyer doesn't want to either. These so-called "settlement lawyers" have a reputation, and their reputation only hurts you. Insurance lawyers will try to make low offers. At the same time, beware the "cowboy lawyer" too. They may be bucking to go to court.
