Hanover v. Lloyds of London, et. al.

Order Granting Summary Judgment

In this matter, Hanover had filed suit against Lloyds and other defendants seeking reimbursement/contribution in connection with a motor vehicle accident involving a commercial vehicle. Lloyds had issued a Non-trucking liability policy. It was argued that at the time of the accident, the covered driver/vehicle was under dispatch and as such there was no coverage for this accident. A motion for summary judgment was filed on behalf of Lloyds seeking a dismissal from the case. The court granted this relief and dismissed Lloyds.
