Rolex Watch U.S.A., Inc. v. Rhine et al.



Action by Rolex Watch U.S.A., Inc. against an Internet hosting service and its owner, which refused to take action, after repeated requests and warnings, against an Internet seller of counterfeit Rolex watches hosted on its servers. The operative theory was contribution to various business torts, including trademark infringement under federal and state law.

The case settled by entry of a consent judgment not long after filing of this complaint in the Eastern District of Wisconsin.
