I represent clients in all aspects of U.S. military law, viz., courts-martial, appeals, post-conviction relief, administrative discharges, Article 15's (non-judicial punishment), discharge upgrades, security clearance issues, correcting military records, Reserve and National Guard activation issues, enlistment/re-enlistment issues and Federal Tort Claims Act issues against the military.
Please note - I do NOT handle VA disability issues.
I served on active duty as an Air Force JAG for 5 years, and retired from the Air Force Reserves as a Lieutenant Colonel. I have tried in excess of 200 courts-martial involving cases from AWOL to premeditated murder. I lecture frequently on issues involving military trial and appellate practice, trial techniques and professional ethics.
For the Profession, I also serve "of counsel" to lawyers and Law Firms who have specific legal issues relating to the military, e.g., obtaining military records, service of process, FTCA matters and collateral consequences of civilian matters for members of the U.S. military.
