Practice/Organization Description

About me:

I am and always have been a dedicated, hard working, honest, trustworthy attorney. My work is tailored to meet the needs of my clients. In 22 years as an attorney, I have never been sanctioned or disciplined for the way I practiced law or for failing to honestly and competently protect the interests of my clients, and I have had thousands of clients in thousands of cases ranging from workers' compensation to family law to wills and trusts. With me you get knowledge, integrity and experience. I will return your phone calls and report to you on a regular basis in writing and by e-mail. I will employ all of the latest methods for communication and disocvery. I will work with you toward a common goal of success and achievement in whatever area of legal assistance you need. Over the span of 20 years, I am extremely familiar with the workers' compensation system of practice in Southern California and have been a judge pro tem in that area. I have worked for the largest and most prestigious workers' compensation law firms, including Laughlin Falbo Levy and Moresi, Gray and Prouty, Louie Stettler and Liebherr and the Law Office of Ken Rowen. I have experience on both sides. I graduated from Pepperdine University School of Law in the top half of my class, with experience there in trial advocacy, moot court competition, legal research and writing and a judicial internship at the Santa Monica Superior Court. I also possess a Masters' Degree in English Literature from Indiana State University, where I taught English Composition as a University Fellow and earned a 3.90 GPA, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the State University of New York, where I earned a 3.18 GPA, a Regents Scholarship from 1973-1977 and graduated at the age of 20. Although many in my family have become doctors and lawyers, my mother and father were not rich, and I worked my way through college and law school, obtaining scholarships all along the way, through hard work, perseverance, keeping my nose to the grindstone and burning lots of midnight oil. I will put the same work ethic to work for you.
