Free initial consultations start my relationships with clients.
I limit my practice to just a few clients at a time. This way, I can provide individual attention to each client and ensure that I do the work, not some paralegal or junior lawyer. My goal is to take a few cases and "work the heck" out of each one.
Most of my clients have never worked with a lawyer before. People call me because they are suffering from some trouble. I pride myself on being accessible: my clients phone me when they have questions, and I give them the time they need.
My specialty is civil litigation, which I have been doing since 1984, when I served in the Oregon Department Justice for a one-year term in its "Honors Program." Since then, I've worked with and against the best lawyers in the country on some of the most complex cases seen in Oregon.
I continue to work on personal injury cases, employment law cases, legal and medical malpractice cases and other civil litigation cases if I think I can help the person and, frankly, if I like the person.
If you think you have an Oregon case, I'd be pleased to talk with, and we can decide if we are a good match.
