Neyah Kane Bennett is the co-founder of Connecticut’s business and technology firm, Aeton Law Partners LLP. He is AV Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell. The AV Rating is the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards. Attorney Bennett also has a 10 out of 10 Superb AVVO rating. In 2011, he was selected by Hartford Magazine as one of Greater Hartford’s “Top Attorney’s.” He was further selected as a member of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance in 2011 upon the recommendation of an advisory board following evaluation for high ethical standards and accomplishment in the profession of law.
Attorney Bennett started his trial career as a prosecutor. As an Assistant District Attorney, he was in the courtroom every day. He tried numerous jury and non-jury cases to verdict and questioned hundreds of witnesses under oath in court proceedings. In addition to his experience as a prosecutor, Attorney Bennett spent seven years practicing at one of Connecticut's largest litigation and trial firms where he was named a Partner. His experience included the handling of cases involving catastrophic injury, wrongful death, business disputes, and commercial litigation.
Attorney Bennett's practice at Aeton includes representation of individuals and businesses in a range of matters such as business disputes, breach of contract, unfair trade practices, commercial law, technology, employment, personal injury, and products liability. In addition, he provides general counsel services to individuals and businesses throughout Connecticut related to litigation, technology, human resources and employment matters, and risk management issues. Attorney Bennett also regularly handles matters in Massachusetts and other states.
